I haven't said anything about Live Earth yet, but my general impression is that "the concerts for a climate in crisis" did much to raise awareness of what I consider to be the most pressing issue of our time. They may not have been quite as dramatic, or as memorable, as Live8, but they succeeded reasonably well. The more awareness, the better. The more activism, the more likely the crisis will be addressed with serious and far-reaching initiatives that make a difference.
And all the more reason why Al Gore should be president.
