Remembrance Day 2008

By Michael J.W. Stickings

Hi all.

It's Remembrance Day here in Canada (Veterans Day in the U.S.), I have the day off, and, well, I haven't really had blogging on my mind.

On this 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War, I've been at home, spending time with my family -- except for the eldest of two daughters, who's at school, and whom we'll be picking up in a couple of hours.

I'll be out for much of the afternoon, but I'll have some new posts up soon, as will the co-blogggers. So, as always, keep checking back. In the meantime, make sure to read "In Flanders Fields," the incredibly moving poem by John McCrae.

I hope you're all having a nice day. Be safe out there.

-- Michael
