Apparently this is all it takes:
Which is to say, apparently all it takes is a vastly overrated actress with a plastic face, a nice but vastly overrated body, and a stupid grin.
No, I'm not a Scarlett fan.
The Scarlett of Lost in Translation, perhaps -- an excellent movie with an excellent screenplay and an excellent Bill Murray, all of which masked her weaknesses and allowed her (seemingly) to shine (it was the perfect movie and the perfect role for her, just as, say, Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich were the perfect movies and the perfect roles for another vastly overrated actress, Julia Roberts, just as Working Girl was the perfect movie and the perfect role for a truly horrendous actress, Melanie Griffith) -- but not the Scarlett of anything else, with the possible exception of Ghost World.
Still, I'm not a Marine and I'm not stationed in Kuwait.
Given either one, and especially given both, I suspect she'd boost my morale, too.
And, well, kudos to Ms. Johansson for taking the time to go over there in the first place.
