As Democrats prepare the ground to jettison the public option, I hope they realize this appeasement will not end the conservative crazy. Co-ops will be demonized. The screamers will continue to scream. And the Democrats will have just given away the farm. And for what? A crappy, watered-down plan that the GOP will not vote for anyway. I just don't get it.
